DHL Deutschland charges surcharges for certain services, such as extra options or large parcels. QLS has collected all surcharges on this page for you so that it won’t come as a surprise. The prices for additional services, such as insured shipping or signature required, can be found on the pricing page of your account in my.QLS.

GOGREEN CO₂-compensated shipping through investments in climate protection projects.	€0.02
Bulky goods Parcels weighing up to a maximum of 31.5 kg that exceed standard dimensions (maximum 120 x 60 x 60 cm), with a maximum length of 200 cm and a maximum girth of 360 cm. In tubular form: up to 200 cm in length or a girth of 360 cm, or with special packaging (e.g., protruding parts, unstable shape).	€20.00
Additional insurance Insurance beyond the existing coverage limit of €500 (up to €2,500).	€6.99
Ident-Check Delivery exclusively to the intended recipient after successful identity verification using the presented ID. Optional minimum age check.	€2.99
Named person only The parcel is delivered exclusively to the recipient in person or to an authorized individual.	€1.69
No neighbor delivery The sender can exclude delivery to neighbors.	€0.99
Lorry Toll and CO₂ surcharge A surcharge is applied separately from the parcel price due to government levies directly related to DHL Germany. This includes the toll for using federal highways by heavy commercial vehicles in Germany (LKW toll surcharge) and the additional costs resulting from CO₂ pricing imposed by the German government.	€0.19
Peak surcharge Surcharge added to the parcel price, applicable in the months of November and December, to support necessary investments in DHL’s infrastructure.	€0.19
